I take back the claim that the statue sold for $710. The item was taken off eBay, but it wasn't listed as having any bids. It's my understanding that any "Buy it Nows" result in a bid number of one and that piece still has a bid number of 0. So I take it that the seller just took the piece off eBay.

Having said that, the only sale I've seen of the piece on eBay was an auction with 16 bids and a winning price of $405, which is still a lot of money.

I've got five other listing saved in a list, but none have any bids associated with them including the only active item which has a minimum bid of $699.

The other eBay listings (inactive) have only "But it Now" prices of $674.99 and 724.95. There's also one of these on Amazon that I think is listed at $795.

Not that I've seen and I've been watching closely.

I ordered this from my LCS which NEVER misses a statue for me and always gives me GREAT deals. But I missed this one. Worse yet, I thought I had it and had just put it in storage. Then when I went to get it from storage and display it, I couldn't find it. After a long exhaustive search of my storage and records it was clear I never got one. Now it's my grail.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

I realize this post was a few days ago, but I had to mention how it amazes me that a person would list the bidding starting at a number HIGHER than one that a person would be able to buy straight away.
