I'll let you guys in on the discussion Erick had with Seng during the SGTCC - the original pose will stay very close to Stanley and Seng's original art concept. That pose had a reason vs a dynamic action pose. http://www.xm-studios.com/sneak-peak...ersion%29.aspx

We envisioned Thor in a calm pose to reflect the confidence and immense power of a GOD, without the need to show rage or action but a calm, classic, "You are about to get owned by arguably the most powerful Avenger" - the feel that Thor is talking down to whoever he's facing off before he gives that poor bugger a divine wallop.

You know - that feeling when someone who stares at you with 100% confidence he can and is about to kick your butt if you're msbehavin.... yeah that's the pose we wanted lol.

I tend to prefer museum poses so I am happy to hear the pose will stay very close to the original.

The original pose is fine. Add the spinning hammer and the awesome screaming head by Tony C and it is fine. The only thing personally for me that I would like to see change is a more straightened neck, and a closer face that looks like the ArtGerm drawing. Stanley's Thor face is the best looking Thor face for me. That is how I ideally see him looking. Beautiful chisled face with Golden Hair.

SO glad that tweaks are being done instead of a new pose.

For me personally, I prefer dynamic, but it makes sense how the pose is now to go with the rest of the Avengers line. The spinning hammer to me, makes this a more museum pose to a dynamic (in feel) pose. I can't wait to see the changes. Seeing how great the changes are on the Magneto....I feel great knowing this will be taken care of.
