Facts!
I’m always critical of sideshow’s brown haired “redheads”. It’s weird to me they do comic characters with powers but can’t just do the comic book red hair. But I was pleased with the recent Ivys.

Yeah, Ivy is always kind of the exception and Jean is the biggest culprit. Though, I will say, even though the latest two Ivys came out good, the Harbottle version's pale edition was quite a bit darker than the prototype.

It still breaks my heart how the original Ivy was photographed with the perfect shade of red (even under the studio lights) to only be given that dark purple mess off the production line (along with the rest of her paint job).
This statue is still one of the best sculpts Sideshow has ever released that was just taken for granted because of its lousy paint job overall =(

Nope. Hers should be actual brown. Although originally it was black.

Oh, that looks really bad. The hair also has holes and dents
My favorite example is Red Sonja III. The hair color is even in her name and yet she has brown hair.

The differences between red and brown hair can be subtle and slight. But it can be oh-so heartbreaking if you ever see them directly side-by-side, imo =(

Portrait 1: I?m ok with Scarlett Witch and maybe Batgirl showcasing this shade..
Portrait 2: Should be Black Widow, Jean Grey, Phoenix, Poison Ivy.
Boatwoman?s wig should be ?in your face red!?

Well, i'll admit it.
It is his SOLE sculpt that i like. And it is his first female licensed offering.
Maybe he should try to sculpt women instead? I don't know, his style does not translate well with male sculpts.

Looks like this piece just had light up features added to the base. I'm always down for light up features on a statue. Especially if they make some type of sense. Now will I use the light up features all that much? Probably not, but nice to have anyways.
