I've enjoy WWH very much. Along with the main miniseries, I've read the regular Hulk series, Frontline and WWH vs. X-Men. To me, it's been a very well excecuted, well-told, entertaining story. I don't have any complaints at all.

Not even close. Planet Hulk, though, quite possibly.

Planet Hulk was amazing I agree, but there have been awesome runs of the Hulk over the years...even in recent memory, Peter David's Hulk run was legendary.

I liked this story, ok, but even while reading it, always saw it as an enormous Gladiator movie cliche' rip-off. Every thing but the kitchen sink out of gladiator movies was thrown into this pot. It was good and all, but I could never get over the feeling that I'd seen/read most of it in earlier works.

Glad I'm not the only one who thought it was just a so-so storyline. To me it was Hulk as Spartacus/Maximus with all the characters changed from the movies to aliens. Interesting story, but I do prefer WWH over PH.

Best Hulk arc for me was the Incredible Hulk #368-377 (David/Keown) stories.

Couldn't agree more Jerry. I've been shouted down from the rooftops in the past for declaring it somewhat overrated, but I thought it was a familiar if still very entertaining read.

I own the hdbk trade collection, I liked it that much...but I also own a lot of other great Gladiator type movies, pbpks & comics. No new ground broken w/ WWH. But, it was a good read. I pull my Planet Hulk ofte, its a great story.
