Haven't watched it yet, but wanting to have fewer, but higher quality statues was my reaction after getting Mera.
Major house cleaning coming up in '24.

I just watched the video.. not that i have the piece on order.
Seeing the arms flex was unexpected. They seem non rigid, not floppy either.
I guess once the piece is standing upright, the arms are not going to flop around.
Imagine if the piece was opened by customs. They are not going to know how to handle the piece.
I know from experience, customs struggle to put statues back into the box properly, and leave off the wrapping etc.

Merde. I never even thought of bull in a china shop customs agents inspecting these.
I remember a video where customs absolutely trashed someone's expensive Batman figure. Another reason the people who got this through Spec and other retailers might be better off than direct purchasers.
Interesting to see the comparison to the original WW84.

This piece looks phenomenal. One of the few JND pieces I really love. IMO this is the one to buy over the gold armor version.

I just saw Wiki Figure's YouTube review.
I think the paint application on the silicone looks terrific. I like many things about the statue but I worry about the silicone hand.
Hopefully, the silicone separating from other parts is not a big issue. I've included a screenshot. You can see it in the Wiki Figure video at 12:10.
I think JND should send us the glue or bonding agent upon request.
I do have this pre-ordered. I have already paid for it in full.

Until you play a breakdancing tune on your boom box and Gal bursts into arm waving.

I was also not impressed by silicone initially. But then I saw Bale and Pattinson paint apps in person. JND really improved their skin texture and paint through the years. Comparing Catwoman to Pattinson BW is like night and day.
I don't think you can achieve this level of life-likeness with resin/polystone.
And this WW skin texture is made to perfection. Every release gets better.

I still think the WW84 has the much better likeness between the two.
Though I do have this on order.

I'm trying to not be a drama queen about this piece.....but, the more I think about what I've seen, the more apprehensive I'm becoming about buying into this.
I, like you, was expecting a, more or less, solid statue - with a silicone "skin" overlay. An endoskeleton, if you will. What we're actually getting, elicits thoughts of jelly glued to plastic, and nothing here gives me the feeling of it being substantial or robust.
I know this piece has one job, and that consideration is really the only thing keeping me in the game on this one.....but, and I say this carefully, I'm wondering if JND has pushed too far on this one, and leaned too heavily into the "silicone is bestest" mindset.
I'm 50/50 with cancelling my order.....I love the realism and portrait, but that's it....nothing else (Engineering wise) on this piece attracts me at all.

Why did JND not reinforce the arms and make it more solid like the legs? Perhaps it is too thin an area and prone to breakage to insert a rod.
What material is the brown strap (across her shoulder) made of?
The Wikifigure review said it was sculpted.
The Hot Toys WB100 variant came with a real leather strap but it was a cheap material - the backside of the strap had this brown flaky material that would stick to the silicone body.
