I remember reading some star wars toy ads before phantom menance came out that spoiled the ending of the qui gon jin, maul, obi wan fight

Like that knowing that would have made that film any worse. George Lucas became the Joel Schumacher for his own franchise. Now that's full-service!

i know most people hate spoilers, but I actually love them... and I don't really know why... Mark makes fun of me because i will look at the last page of a comic before i even start reading... and be like oh my gawd I can't believe this... and then read to find out how it got to that point... i will also read spoilers online any time i get a chance...
but that being said, i like them but i would never spoil something for someone else, because most aren't like me...

he was watching a movie with me and in the middle went to the comupter to read a synopsis of the rest of the movie

That's only because the movie sucked. LOL.
Dark Knight was great. Still... BAtman the Animated Series I liked best for the interaction between Joker and Batman. I'd say more but I wouldn't want to spoil anything.
Heck, here's a spoiler for you... there is no way Heath Ledger will play Joker again. Which is a shame, Ledger did the best job of portraying Joker bar none. Joker is a twisted psychopath who reveled in seeing the human condition wriggle like a mouse in a moral maze.
