Well, below is what Hellboy says. If I don't love this film I will definitely blame him and probably be a big meanie towards him for quite some time.

Hopefully you watched the International Version as its FAR superior to the trimmed down Theatrical Version. This film is a masterpiece IMHO. John Woo's best work since The Killer.

LOL Barbarian.

Pat- definitely watch the International Version. Its twice as long as the Theatrical cut. At nearly 5 hrs in length it is an investment of your time though but SOOO worth it. The theatrical cut is missing HUGE chunks of the story and a great deal of very important character development.

Good man. And if you don't love it... it's Hellboy's fault.

I'm honestly glad you let us know this, because I would be greatly dissappointed to watch the theatrical version only to find out that there was far more to the film.

It's very responsible of you to take full responsibility.

having only seen the full length Red Cliff, I have a hard time comprehending how the trimmed version would play out...not well, I'm guessing. anyone switching to the 2-part release has made the right choice...

no character development, just straight to the action cinematography sequences basically.

Well, I think I know some people who would really like this version then The action sequences are amazing but losing out on so much plot, the mind boggles....and with the 2-parter being so easy to get hold of, makes it a pretty easy choice which to pick.
