I had heard that as well, but I'm beginning to think it's not true, because in real life he's dating the new girl in Transformers 3. I think it may just be speculation, since Shia is not coming back. Someone just figured, "hey let's get her real life action star boyfriend to take over."

Cue a typical Arnie one liner, and fade to black. Predators sequel is now set up.

that sounds even worse than the ending they went for
I hated this movie

Aside from Denise Richards, who is god awful and terribly miscast, this is a good Bond film. Definitely above average. Brosnan's best entry outside GoldenEye IMO and a return to form after the over the top Tomorrow Never Dies. I'm not sure why it gets such a bad rap unless people just can't look past Richard's performance, which is so bad I'd say it drops the film down a full point for me so I somewhat understand. Sophie Marceau is absolutely beautiful and just may be my favorite Bond girl EVER. Good settings, good villains, a decent and for the most part plausible narrative coupled with some great action sequences. I tend to favor the Bond films that stay more grounded in reality and in that this one succeeds. I also think the title song by Garbage is probably the best entry in the last 7 films.

I agree the Garbage songs rocks! This movie is really good, but Denise Richards is AWFUL in this movie and was the wors tcasting in this movie since Britt Eckland as Mary Goodnight.
But Sophie Marceau is great in this.
I love Tomorrow Never Dies though!

Manos: The Hands of Fate (on Elvira's Movie Macabe):
the movie 2/10 So bad, SO SO BAD!!! 2 points for the awsome costume of the main villain
Elivar's critique of the movie 8/10!!! She had me laughing giving the movie a "masterpiece theater" type of treatment.

Mallrats - 5/10 - Man I forgot how bad some of the acting was in this. Still enjoyable for the witty dialog and comic book references though. Typical Kevin Smith fare, not good but not that bad either.

I live right by the exterior shots of the flea market they go to. I use to hang out there all the time as a teenager. The interior was shot someplace else. They tore the flea market down over 10 years ago and put in a multiplex so it's cool to see it in the film.

Statham ranks low on the P.R.S., I take it?
