Well if they have a straight up ES, then that may be different. But How many have a ES and how many have the TBD ES? Waiting is very easy since something is always coming. Especially if we collect other things as well.

I wanted that sw droid ex set with a 150-200 es, from a few years ago and it was 3-5k. Almost bought it, but it was a bit much. Now I was shocked to see it's goin g for 499.99. The sales are huge with some 100% off what I paid for aftermarket on some xm stuff, and pcs statues. I paid 1400.00 for Akuma from this site at the time and sold it for 550.00. Tons of great discounts now. It's a great time to be a buyer! The more expensive the better the discounts later on.

Waiting for the secondary market doesn’t really work for me, as the market isn’t all that big here. And when I buy the regulars locally I’m already saving 40-60% on what I’m paying locally when deciding not to get the pieces direct from Sideshow. And add shipping for selling my own pieces or buying others (even locally) and it’s never worth it in the end. As prices would have to fall by an unreasonable amount to make it competitive with what I pay locally with the 20% early preorder and member discounts and the free shipping.

And honestly I’ve never been one to buy second hand goods.

There are some deals, but rarely. I picked up a SS Hawkeye EX for 350 cdn, SS OG Cap A for $1400 cdn, GG Cap Winter Soldier for $250 US, to name a few. All from FB forums.

Extremely rare. I haven't bought anything from FB yet. Haven't really seen anything I'm looking for.
