Being ready for the unexpected is everyone's best bet. Not just in protecting your collection but more importantly your family. The cost of "it won't happen to me" and something happening is far greater than the cost of being ready and it never happening.

Check to see what your deductible is. Does it cover breakage? I would double check as that's one of the reasons I cancelled the writer on my homeowners insurance and went with collectinsure.com

Insurance is nice guys, but this signatured shield for example you do not get back even with Insurance money.

Very true. ..The Alex Ross X-men canvas I just got was one of the pieces I have be looking for years .When I got this I was yes its my now ...I only had it for to days

That really sucks.

Was your collection insured? This should be a good warning to everyone to insure their collections.

That's horrible. I should probably insure my collection, just been lazy about it.
It doesnt take much to do it. I just called up my agency and told them what my collection is worth and bam.....all set.

This is why you should always turn geo tagging off when your taking pictures of your collection. Get insurance and have an entire room full or snakes as back up
