I just spotted, Chun-Li has 4 weights either side of the bar, causing the bar to bend considerably.

Cammy only has 2 weights either side of the bar, meaning her bar does not bend.
It implies Cammy is weaker than Chun-Li.
I also wondered, maybe the arms on the statue could not support the additional 4 weights?
PCS could have made the weights of lighter material to counter act the issue, assuming there was an issue?

Is Chun-Li's bar bending too much?

By the looks of things the bar used by Chun and Cammy are identical 3D models.

Have to agree.
I think much of it has to do with Chun-Li's portrait. She is looking forward,
and her mouth shape implies she is letting out some air, ready to take the weights to the next step.

Cammy appears to be looking downwards, and lacks expression on her face (other than a bored expression).
Also, the style looks slightly less cartoony, when compared to the Chun-Li portrait, which looks great!

Also, Chun-Li lifting more weight adds to the piece.
