I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

What part was broken, out of 250 shipped we have yet to have one arrived broken.
Was it inspected in customs? Were all of the foam holders installed around ED on the inside? There should be small blocks of white and black foam holding him into place.

Okie i see, so it was opened by you guys, not secret compass. Please see photos of the damage. Packaging looks good with all the foams in place. I am in the US, so no customs to go through.
Was happy to finally got him, but joy quickly turned to disappointment once i took out the body and saw the small piece in the plastic bag. Took me a while to find where it was from. There is also a wire loose on the foot...

Mine came like that also among few other issues but Paul and his team acknowledged the issues and promptly got me a return label for a replacement.

Get Secret Compass to switch it our for you, I QC'd that piece and I go over them with a fine toothed comb.
When SC contacts us I'll take care of them. Or you can send me the Upper Body and the Lower Body and we'll fix it for you or switch it out.

I requested an exchange with secret compass, but just curious if everyone else's ed209 from this vendor are also resealed.
Thanks

Sorry to hear about your broken ED-209. Hopefully Chronicle can help you out there. In regards to the finger prints - I would assume they all come with finger prints - Phil Tippett did sign them
I talk about the finger prints in my unboxing video of ED-209.

I don't have an issue with the finger prints. But if you do wish to clean the finger prints off, use a soft, dry cloth and buff slowly so not to remove the signature.
