Yes, this one is just not for me at all. I didn't like the original prototype and I don't think the production piece is going to do it any favors. I still can't believe SSC is going to make 2,250 pieces of this. Seems pretty high considering you don't hear a lot of positive chatter for it.

I liked it before, just had doubts about the portraits. Now I'm less interested.
I like the style of the art box and base. What's the significance of the date, though? Run-up to Knightfall?

They just can't seem to do Batman right. Always a misstep when it comes to making a Batman PF.
The latest Batman bust is in the right direction, but SSC didn't make it into a PF.

They made more of the last pf which had a similar or worse reaction.

I was one of the few that actually liked the prototype (with the regular portrait). But, this shading on the production piece looks like a hot mess. I'd be pissed if I had ordered this.

I was wanting this to pair with the new Catwoman. The shading is far more ostentatious on the final production piece. Gotta think hard about it now.

You are right about that. Which also goes to show how poorly this one has been received. I think a well done Bel Batman similar to the upcoming bust would have had a 5,000 edition size for sure.
