That's the coolest base I've ever seen. Very sophisticated and simple.

It was the same situation as with their Kirk. With the Kirk, it too had bland paint on the prototype, but then out of nowhere their production piece was made out of a translucent resin. I went from zero interest, to suddenly buying it.

Let's see if history repeats itself.
How come they are not using the translucent resin on all of their products?

I got their T2 on bike and while the head sculpt is decent, paint apps is quite flat and lifeless, like an old Sideshow statue. But you mentioned the Kirk got the better resin treatment.

I was not considering getting this statue but the base has me reconsidering. Would of preferred Neo from the first movie.

Not sure if JND or Prime 1 would get release Matrix statues and one-up Darkside.

All their pieces that I have seen posted look completely outdated even when they are new releases, they fail to impress yet again.

Unfortunate, but true.

I have all three of their 1/3 scale Star Trek Captain pieces, and while I will never regret purchasing them, they could’ve been done better.

From base, to outfit, and especially the paint app. The only thing I left out were face sculpts, because as far as I’m concerned the Picard and Spock were pretty well sculpted.

However, given the subject material, I doubt any other company that is capable of doing better, will ever pick up those character licenses.

Chances are very slim indeed!
I just searched those Star Trek releases Darkside did and Blitzway would absolutely crush it (if they actually tried making it)

I would love a Seven of Nine, she was one of the most interesting characters on the series.

I suggested a Star Trek line to one of the big companies, but was told Star Trek just doesn't sell.
