These two little gems showed up this week, now I?m only missing a Galadriel in my LOTR collection. Thranduil is kind of a cheat but so is adding the Hobbit movies, so?I got both from BBTS, they still had that Elrond Sideshow-Weta bust in stock after all these years. It had never been opened before! I got #173/3000. It?s a little bigger than 1/4 scale. I?ve noticed some scale issues with their busts over the years, usually too big. Not complaining, really like them! It was only like $35 for the bust. I also added Weta?s Thranduil mini epic. I found it funny he got the full blown shipping box plus art box treatments. I don?t recall that for Bilbo, my only other mini epic.

Thanks man! I had Elrond sitting in my Pile of Loot for awhile, then had to ship them as his time was up! Was hoping Peacemaker would have come into stock first, but just would up with these two. I do love how well BBTS packages everything. I think Ill put a glass cabinet in front of the door on that side of the room eventually and then space some of my smaller figs out a bit more. Ill get there eventually I hope!

I saw the films in the theaters when they originally came out and have watched the extended editions on Max.

I havent stuck with one particular format with LOTR just because of how many characters there are. I have everything from PFs to Comiquettes to Figures to Busts, to smaller scale statues. Its one of the reasons I didnt jump into LOTR when I initially started collecting. I had the same thought with Star Wars but mostly stucj with figures there.

Finally got around to unboxing my Marvel Select
1/6 Blade figure. I think the likeness is great, some of the scaling for the mixed media is a bit off, but a total success for an older figure. I added a blank base so he doesn?t shelf dive. Also rearranged my Marvel section a bit. Still a couple that don?t belong and room for one more piece (Probably Psylocke) to close out my Marvel collection.
