Just because they can, doesn't mean they should. No one needs more of woke Batman or emo Bruce.

I don't care if they make a sequel. What matters is what they do with it. Haven't seen a great Batman movie yet.

I liked how they have the darkest, most grounded approach to Batman in The Film since The Year One Comics. I'm not into Emo Twilight Boy Bruce but he is decent in costume at least. After all nothing is perfect.
I will see the second film in theathers as well.

I loved the costume & how Batman was presented as being a little more "out there" in Gotham in a Neal Adam's approach. I liked the cave, the look of the city. I liked how Batman rode a motorcycle a bit more than he relied on the car. I liked all the little things. That being said, I found the move kind of a snooze. It took two viewings to finish the damn thing. I've read that a 2nd is a go. They need to tighten things up. Stick with the detective angle, use Alfred a little more & stick with a more comics feel.

Some fans are hoping for Court of Owls to be in the sequel. That would mean Talon would make a showing too.
I'm dreading that, to be honest. The fight between Talon and Batman would be an epic hand-to-hand combat. And right now, Matt Reeves is not giving the hand-to-hand combat scenes any justice.

That would get me more interested in this franchise.
