I think he'll be fine with pieces that are standing.
Like Standing Doom is 24" tall, I think the Height will offset some of his girth.

Rep chick said they're getting a good number amount of extra Thanos statues not numbered just in case someone has a problem like DeathtoToasters. So when you get the replacement the take the broken number piece and lable the new one shipped out.
