Isn't that a handsome looking guy? Great stuff, Paul. Not sure if it's because of the pic but the teeth will need some light brown washes to match the look of the life size version. But yea, with all the right adjustments, the piece is an easy order now.

The casting details and paint apps are fantastic!
I was debating whether I should get the TLW male rex bust before since I have one built up. But after seeing this teaser, I just realize there are so many details lost in those private casting pieces and also tons of casting defects... no mention the color applied on wasn't accurate at all. Damn, I was very happy about that years ago.
Can't wait for the pre order!


One picky wish, I do still hope that Paul can update the eyes of those bust since I own the stan-rex bust which has 'glass' eyes and it dose bring life to that piece.

Plus one if possible. My custom has the acrylic eyes in and it completes the piece perfectly.

but the acrylic eyes that im talking about are not that expensive.
at between 10 and 15 dollars a set i would say it is well worth the cost and the amount of effort to install them.
and would really put this over the top. and really bring it to life.

why cut corners? why not make this the best it can be?

please Chronicle. you got to install these eyes. it totally adds to the realism of the piece and and will really put this over the top.

And Paul, if the female does Get a green light from Universal, can you make her mouth open something close to THX's custom? Or at least inbetween THX's female mouth position and the Lost World male mouth position.

I'd pay the extra $20 for acrylic eyes on this. I agree the female mouth should be a little different to stand out more
