Ok, so the Oscar noms are out.
I wished Dark Knight would get a best pic nomination, hopefully Heath will take it home.
But I'm thrilled The Reader got nominated for Best PIcture, I love that movie.

my friend, who's also the host of the strip oscar party, HATED it. it's a wait-for-dvd for me, i think.
the best actress race has also become more of a contest, i think. it'll be up to meryl & anne to outpace kate, but maybe melissa leo--whom people loved in that movie--will skew things funny.
all i know is i'll end up naked. i almost never win oscar pools. then again, i won't count that as much of a "loss."
