Dan
I just ordered through them also. I did it on impulse.
Now that I see they have a 5% restocking fee there's no way I can cancel if I get an order in through CM.

Nice.

Then I can take ages saving for it.

I think that applies after the item has been shipped to the customer.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

I kinda did the same thing. This is my first CM piece and have never ordered from them, so I don't know what it's going to be like when they are up on their own site. But I do know BBTS is VERY reputable and great CS, so there's definitely peace of mind. Yeah if you cancel, it'll cost you 100 bucks, but you've got your name on one!

True..
My main concern was if it came in damaged but, it looks like they have a Buyer friendly return policy.
I might get it 6 months or more after they start shipping but I'll have plenty of time to gather the $$.

You're assuming they will fill all their original orders. Good luck with that.

If they don't, I charge a 5% no sale fee.

Besides, they've already covered it.

"Please Note: Due to very high demand for the Predator Cinemaquette, there will be a substantial waiting period for all new orders placed. We expect all new orders placed now to fill ~6 months or more after the initial ship date. All orders are 100% guaranteed to fill, there will just be a lengthy wait time on new preorders placed. Our initial monthly shipments are all spoken for by people who have already ordered. Thanks for your patience, your orders are guaranteed to fill and we'll try to get inventory as quickly as we can."

Yep, as I said earlier in this thread, it's going to take a considerable amount of time to fulfil their preorders.
More so, as they are continuing to except them.
