This guy's directed many of the great Battlestar Galictica episodes in the current series. I.M.O., this is great news. BSG has been, pretty consistently, a fabulous series. If this guy is the Director, Sarah Pezzini's in good hands.

I hope this does'nt mean it's gonna be all soap opera and no fiction

Hah! I suppose there is the chance that we'll see a bit of a soapy back story but I'm noticing that trend in almost all pop-culture nowadays. I stopped reading Witchblade comics after 50 or so issues and as I recall, there was a lotta Soap Opera entwined with her story too. Just as long as it's overshadowed by ripping, bloody, blade violence and Sarah's tiny, armored bikini.

Guys, there's an actress with a perfect look for Sara and she's Italian too. She's on "Eureka" and "Galactica" and does a good job.
I submit, hot actress Erica Cerra for Det. Sara Pezzini....

It's hard to find pictures of her. But if she isn't your cup of tea, how about Michelle Ryan? The former new bionic woman.

certainly has plenty of sex appeal but i dont know her acting. Falls under the catagory as most of the others mentioned like Alba. Whomever is chosen should be some what tall, like 5'7, and needs to be reasonably muscular [See Swank in Million Dollar Baby or Biel in Blade]. Thats why i mentioned finding someone akin to a T2 era Linda Hamilton earlier. Thats just my opinion. I personally dont have the highest of hopes that the people in charge of the movie will be true to the character.
