Great review, thanks for uploading it and doing a comparison against the red Elektra, Shadowland Daredevil and even a glimpse of the black Psylocke.

They are both great but, if you have the black Daredevil and Psylocke, I think you have to go with the black Elektra. The three statues look amazing together.

Thank you for posting this nearmint! This is very telling of the potential engineering issues from the red version Elektra. Sideshow made a decision to re-engineer this connection point which we can only interpret to improve on the stability of this piece. That should be good for the owners of the black version but for those with the red to be aware.

For the choice of red vs black....

For Red I prefer the contrast and detail of the paint with the blood red, dark red, and black. The shading is also more discernable. And the EX katanas.





For the black it's just that everything looks better....in black. And I appreciate the upgrade to the peg.

Now that I am looking at these pieces again I am tempted......to pick up the black.

Yeah, this piece is super impressive, I think it really speaks to how rough the marketplace is in general right now. We are a bunch of diehards on here. But the economic factors they are dealing with have to be tough to navigate.

I wonder how long these finished pieces have been in house at Sideshow? It'd make sense to have produced them the same time as the red version, I suppose- no need to retool for molds, etc. But has the black costume version been sitting in a warehouse, waiting for an event/release? If so - what else might be in storage, waiting for the right time to sell? -)
