Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

I think the paint will be just right on this one! Where can you see the remaining amount left on the e/s?

Watching Robocop now. I forgot how barrel chested Robocop is. Jerry u did a great job with the chest proportions. This is the first collectible that accurately depicts his chest circumference.

hi jerry,

i'm sure you know that Chronicle Collectibles made big Robocop waves this week announcing their Legacy Line and partnership with Tippett Studio releasing replicas of the puppets used in the Robocop film(s).

I'm all for the owning the most accurate collectibles possible, however strangely i am not impressed by their ED-209 statue. I find it to be a lousy display. Pose and base are bonafide head-scratchers.

i hope this new Chronicle ED-209 release has not discouraged you from producing a 1:4 scale ED-209. Despite the Chronicle ED being cast directly from the puppet, i truly believe that you can deliver to collectors the best and most impressive ED-209 yet.

I think the real problem is that companies can only milk this niche 80s high end collector thing for so long. Just about every company out there, from Chinese to Japanese to Western, has released a Robocop figure or statue in the last ten years and I truly don't think degrees of accuracy really matter that much in the end to convince people to keep rebuying the same character, slightly different every time. If this came out three or four years ago when the Robocop buzz was really starting to hit then it probably would have sold out by now.
