For this? no... I was just going to go with the damned list on the NYCC site; I know there's cheaper hotels out there, but I don't know NYC geography, and the hotels on the site at least give you an idea as to how many blocks you are from the convention center. 
Not using my travel agent for once, but you're damned tootin' I did research for affordable flights and hotel (I DID turn in miles for Business class travel, though..  long flight).

I'm more than down for throwin' down $300 or more for one night, if it saves me on stress.
Grah.. there's actually not that many inexpensive hotels in that neck of the woods, but.. such is downtown NYC.
