The ice slide is unique, but it's his #2 move. That would be like Jerry making a statue of Scorpion doing the Hell-Fire Punch. Is it unique....yeah, is it ideal, No. I love that these MK statue are action-themed, as far as the poses, they should just keep it simple highlighting their (#1) signature/character defining moves.

I wish they were 1/6 rather than 1/4 as they might have been smaller and cheaper.
an Ice Slide would be cool for a 3rd or 4th revisit of the character. aside from the Syco piece, i'm really not aware of ANY officially licensed Sub-Zero statues, let alone 1/4 scale. This first go-ound with SubZero MUST be with this ice-freeze signature move and if it's not i'm gonna

Without trying to restart a sh*t storm, I think it's obvious why it isn't sold out yet. Wait until Jerry fixes the head or adds a 3rd plain skull. It will go quick, fast, and in a hurry then. Also:

1) It's comic con and there is a ton of stuff that other companies are showing, so it's no surprise that people are unsure of exactly what they want. Even the rich have a limit of what they can and will spend.

2) With SS's NRD, gone are the days of haphazardly pre-ordering 15 statues during the Con only to cancel half or more when the ship date arrives. People will be losing hundreds of dollars for changing their minds.

3) I don't think it's an issue of more SF fans versus MK fans. The initial run is high and there is probably hesitation about the exclusive as it is, plus add in the above two examples and I think you'll see this trend be more and more common for statues in general.

@Andrew and I and I

Both very true. I couldn't be happier that Jerry is doing the MK line.

Jerry was supposed to meet with Ed Boon this past Thursday about revising the head or making a 3rd. I wonder what the results were?

This Scorpion Statue is a 10 out of 10.

The pictures only prove it.

As for the ex head, even if the skull was perfect, I'd rarely display it. I always remember Scorpion in his ninja form.

I got the ex head because its only 10 bucks for an additional piece so an extra option never hurts.
