Manufacturers do odd things all the time. DC still refers to the Joelle Jones Cover Girls as 9-inch (1/8) scale statues even though they're bigger than the previous waves. Some manufacturers include the base or even use overall height, which makes no sense. By that rubric, DC could claim that Bombshells Wonder Woman Deluxe is 1/4 scale because of the raised sword. (From the bottom of the tank base to the tip of the sword, she's 18-inches tall, same as the Sideshow PF WW.)

Hmm, now I wonder if I should get him to go with the Designer Series Metal Batman statue. I figured they'd be too out of scale with another, but maybe not.

It's nuts, even crouched, he's practically as tall as that DS Batgirl behind him. Since one of Batman's feet is on the ground instead of on the base, I imagine they'll pair rather well.
Here's another pic of him next to 1/8-scale statues. He's definitely bigger.

I guess most of them are 1/7 scale. The Gamora one looks very nice.

Heres how some of the diamond select spider-verse characters scale with each other. The carnage is kotobukiya and the Mary Jane is Bowen. Seems they are 1/7 scale, with the exception being Venom(1/6)?

Best way to tell is to whip out a ruler.
Is Venom supposed to be bigger than other characters like Hulk?

I would use a ruler, but spiderman, venom, and Carnage aren't standing so it'd be hard to mesure an exact scale. As for venom, in the comics he's slightly smaller than the Hulk
