If they did that it had to have been a mistake. Did you contact them about it? Their support has always been pretty top notch for us, I won't claim perfect, but pretty freaking high up the food chain when it comes to companies like this.

This. I've had to get a replacement for my Designer Series Dark Knight statue and there were no issues with getting the replacement.
Actually, the only downside was that I had to wait until my next scheduled shipment to receive the replacement (though I was hoping they'd send out the new one immediately).

Yeah, there is that, but as long as I know it's in the next one I can usually wai. The only time they've sent me out something separately is when Thor Bishoujo was in our shipment, then somehow got taken out. I was very unhappy. They shipped that puppy out to me super fast on it's own to fix the issue though. So, it was ok in the end.

I take back my praise of DCBS. I've had the Supergirl Bishoujo pulled for almost a full month now, our shipment went out today, and she's suddenly missing and back on our un-pulled list. This is the 3rd or 4th time this has happened with bishoujos. So, I can't in good faith recommend them any further.
Their CS Rep replied stating they were shorted and didn't realize until the end of the month. So, based on some unknown criteria, my status got stolen to fulfill someone else's order. WTF.
