eFX at SDCC 2014

I read somewhere that someone requested photos from the SD booth. Took a bunch of them. I am one of the early preorders receiving the early batch and wanted to get a closer look at the shield, especially since Kings Art started producing their own. I am happy to say I am satisfied with the one I will be receiving from eFX and it can't come soon enough. Enjoy the pics.

What did the finish on the shield feel like? Did it feel high quality? How would you rate the look/paint job in person?

It had a good quality finish. Paint looks great. I am not sure what fiberglass feels like on actual products like these, but it did have a bit of weight to it. Still feels like one needs to be careful not to bump it on another surface and end up getting a chip or scratch. Overall, I am satisfied with the product and can't wait to receive it.

The Efx website says that anticipated delivery is late July/early August. Can someone please ask Efx to confirm an arrival date for those who pre-ordered directly from Efx and for those who pre-ordered through other shops online? Will there be a big delay?
