I’m excited for this one. I have other fully masked 1/4 Spideys so I plan in mainly using the ripped mask torso.
This one is pretty up there for me but the SS Comiquette, slightly over sized and flat faced as it is, will always have a special place in my heart lol. Always my #1 statue. Still, I always enjoy a new Spidey.

Interesting. Guess they removed that "Max 700" designation that was up during its whole solicitation.
Not that it's a big deal, but this whole MTO system seems like nonsense.

How so? 880 is still exceeding low compared to other companies.

How so? Really? Sure, relatively speaking that is a low ES. Immaterial. It doesn't change the fact that specifically soliciting something as "Limited edition : MTO (Capped at maximum 700 pcs)" in a collectibles industry of all things, and then going ahead and producing a higher run seems, well, odd...
I already suspect that people will come to the defense saying they likely upped the ES to cover the added expense of the additional torsos, but this comes on the heels of bumping up the ES for both Mystique and Starlord well after an ES was posted on their site. The justification then was that they "probably took in more orders at conventions," which is fine - but, to me, that calls into question their whole "Orders Closed!" proclamations.
Again, not a big deal to most I'm sure, but my point remains that this MTO order model seems odd and can be misleading. With a true MTO model, you'd think after the orders close they could immediately announce an ES, but they never do.
Cool statue. Looking forward to mine.

I can see the argument, it’s valid since they’re essentially spreading false info about ES. At the same time I’m currently unbothered by them blowing their originally stated Max ES on several statues, even though I admit that does sound bad. I’d probably be unhappy with the MTO system if they were using it to go over 1000 but they still aren’t doing that anyway. They aren’t doing Sideshow numbers on ES. As for XM, Storm taught me if I like the character (I love her lol) and I like the way XM made them (they did Great!), then order it and enjoy it.
Looking forward to that review Grumpy!

I agree, if they are still to the max. Marvel ES999 it´s fine for me.
