I wonder if that was really what we were intended to do. I saw a video review where someone pried the fingers up and got the hilt of the sword in there, not that that seemed exactly "right", either. I never would've thought to start bending back the fingers on a PVC statue and I don't think I was close to pulling it off. I wouldn't have thought to pop out the fingers, either. The fingers did not easily come out on mine the first time, but they sure do now! Michael mentioned that the fingers can easily fall out... not sure if that happened to him before or after he popped them out.

It would've been nice to have some assembly instructions either way. My first assumption was that the hilt and sword would separate. I would never have guessed the other two options.

That sucks - it should've been a late pre-order, right? I've done plenty of those with DCBS myself when I miss something or see in-hand pics that sway me. That should've been originally up for order in February unless DCBS ended up taking orders again at some point. I would not be happy if I paid in advance for this statue when it was first solicited and didn't get it.

They actually were just not able to fulfill a monthly comic I had ordered and I'm still not sure how that can happen. I got the following issue, but am missing one. I ended up just cancelling the remaining issues. That was the first issue I think I've ever had them with them in many, many years, though.

Koto makes it sound like they are going to do another round of these since I've seen it mentioned the first version comes with the alternate display options. I'm assuming a second run will remove the Batman v Superman sword/shield.
