Thanos. He's too cunning and powerful to lose to essentially a robot.

But isn't Ultron indestructible and nearly all-powerful in terms of strength?

Ultron's exterior shell is virtually indestructible to terrestrial forces.
We have seen however his internal systems can be disabled by sufficiently powerful attacks such as the Human Torch's nova flame. In terms of physical strength, I've never really thought of Ultron as being as strong as say Thor.
While it may not be a short battle, Thanos is simply too powerful for Ultron.

Yeah good question but i also think Thanos wins this fight cause Ultron is no match for Thanos at all.

Nope, Ultron's strenght is "only" Class 25....Which is not that high. (Although, Luke Cage is Class 25, and apparently he goes toe-to-toe with the Thing & Clone-Thor as if it is nothing)
And for his Adamantium body: Everything loses against Magic, even Adamantium.
And Ultron is also a Genius....But Thanos is as smart (if not smarter) than Reed Richards.
Thanos for the win.

Back in the day, I think it was Avengers 161, Ultron was able to hold off both Wonder Man and Thor...but I get how these things go...strength comes and goes...depending on the writer...
Im not certain that without Soul Gems, Thanos could sufficiently damage Ulton physically, or have the energy needed to overwhelm his internal circuitry...sans the gems, I might go Ultron...

Agreed, even if I'm not versed enough on the cosmics to know Thanos well.
I'd still take him over Ultron, though.
