why would a company continue to produce a line that they can't sell out, even with a 50% off sale?

What Gentle Giant needs to do here is offer Fireball as a website exclusive pending minimum orders. And if minimum required number of preorders is not met in three months, then cancel all orders.
Ambash's point is valid as ES was decreasing. Lucky had an ES of 280 which hardly feels latge enough to make production profitable. And you can still find Lucky and all HT girls. Not sure if any ar sold out.

The point of the thread is to show GG there is interest for this character. From the number of people signing the petition...it isn't going to happen. It really is too bad that they decided to damn this line with slow production and high prices.
They made a stupid choice in the order of production for these. I think Fireball should have been made before Katya, atleast. From what I have been reading online, a lot of collectors considered her their favorite.
