Looks good, not sure the base works (Although it was a nice idea in theory) In reality you don't need to steal so much attention away from the main attraction. But yeah, price is too high so it's a mute point anyway.

Agree about the base. I like it a lot but for long term display simple sometimes is best.
2K for basically toy size?
Of course Chronicles's looks way better but will production pieces look $1,900 +Shipping better, especially from across a room?

Yeah I was thinking the same it's one of those ideas that should work but in practice just doesn't look quite right.

Estimated ship date 4th qtr 2020. Just might be able to swing this on the payment plan.

At that price and scale argument is certainly there to commission a build from a pro.
And you could option it as you like
But yes, I'm happy to see REAL Star Trek offered.
The oddly proportioned D grew on me for love the show.

Well for me it's spoiled by the price being easily at least 1K too much.
Not sure Chronicle has accounted that this won't be received like other organic or even mechanical statues.
This is clearly in model/replica territory and customers will judge accordingly.
The model community has even higher standards than statue collectors.
Imprecise casting or fudged paint is going to draw some harsh criticism and potential returns.

At $2000, I am not sure this will sell well. Personally, I think there should have been less focus on the base, which would have lowered costs. The base is cool, but distracts you away from the ship. This needs to come in under $1500 or its DOA.......in my opinion.

I like the base, but hopefully it can be independently controlled so you can choose to have it on or not and still have the ship lights on.

You do know they have done multiple replica ships already right?
