need some hard drive advice

Not for my computer it's for my DVR
This is what I want to do

and this is a local store

Apparently it's gotta be a Seagate HD - but does it matter which one? I'd love to get the bigger one but have no idea because I don't have a clue what the differences are

any advise is great - thanks
Jon

I think you can get any size, just a matter of the placement of the cable connectors and size of the HD. Some Hds are slightly thicker then others.

You want a 7200 rpm hd, 5200 are slower.

Its a Ultra ATA, so make sure you dont buy a SATA.

Try this link and see what other people have done.
