Come down to 86th street between Bay Parkway and 25th ave here in Brooklyn, and you can buy as many quarter sized turtles as you want. It turned into Canal street over here.

Although back then I was in casual relationships, so I did have a couple of their moms over the years that engaged in that activity.

Pretty much.

I loved teaching for the sake of teaching, watching kids discover things on their own, and learn, etc etc... that's a real joy, but when I wasn't in serious relationships with anyone, yeah... all the single moms were quite the meat market.

I wonder if "turtle" is a meat that's found at foreign meat markets.....? Probably.
