I agree. Hal Jordan is supposed to be an arrogant, over-confident test pilot with a military background. Not a snarky jokester.

I like how WB handled Wally in the Justice League animated series. The Flash is a good character to use for comic relief.

Maybe DJ could be Darkseid. I would like to see if he could play evil. As far as a hero, he most reminds me of Orion. But the New Gods will never be on the big screen, well at least in my lifetime. I would have no issue if he played John Stewart.

true, but CG still needs to voiced and motion captured. Marvel is using Spader as Ultron and Ruffalo did the Hulk in both voice and mo-cap.

i think a combination of CG and a real person would look killer. specially if the rock was Darkseid.

just like Thanos at the end of the Avengers. that was a real person with CG.

I have to agree. It is kind of over compensating for how GL was received by throwing a pretty universally embraced actor in the role. Love the Rock but he is definitely not my first choice for Stewart GL.

yeah i wont be all that accepting with it if he is. he will be far to huge physically to be JS GL. hes going to make Supes and Bats look feeble
