Thanks for the advice. Checked for debri but nothing. As far as it going all the way in it does if I turn it in the wrong direction. Is no big deal all I can hope for is for it to hopefully settle in.

My Sub-Zero portrait head needed to be replaced because of bad quality control. The replacement head I got is a lot better, but unfortunately, the molding is slightly off and it won’t fit in the slot.

Should I continue to try to get portrait replacements until one fits? Or should I just get a sideshow credit? Doesn’t look like they are offering me a replacement of the whole statue. I like the piece and want to keep it but the original head ruins it for me.

Thoughts? What are your experiences in getting replacement pieces like portraits? Wondering if it is worth the hassle.....

You could try for another replacement, but they told me they don't have any in stock right now, so have to wait until they get more in...whenever that'll be. I might opt for a refund if it takes too long.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

I received mine. He turned out great including the portrait

Luckily, only really minor QC issues (sloppy paint job under the arm pit that nobody will notice)

Overall, really happy with this piece

Looks pretty good, actually. I need to take mine out of the box and finally inspect it. I've had him nearly 3 months now. My Scorpion waitlist is going on 7 months old, though, so if I can't get a Scorp I won't be keeping him.
