Doesn't bother me one bit. I don't want to detract from the big homie. If it were up to me, all the bases would be grayscale and colorless making the characters pop even more.

I think it looks good, they have a different texture and the signal has a slightly metallic albeit weathered finish

Well then why go thru the trouble to create such elaborate bases? Just make it clear acrylic.
If youre going to invest the talent, don't stop at the very end and not use a different shade of paint.
SS nails this then gets lazy on the base by not opening another bottle, smh.

But will we notice the texture from the display distance? If not for the rust there is little to no color change. Hopefully its just the lighting.
Its not a deal breaker but everyone complains about price and QC, so changing the paint for a metal object and stone object should be included to justify $700.

Sorry bro, sometimes SS just gets under my skin as of late. Lets say I'm chastising SS, not the PF.
It is still a great piece and I don't regret POing.

SS: Makes Bane statue larger than Hulk
Every collector in the universe: "He's too small!"

Like I said, even if I didn't have the points to use on this, I'd still pick him up. I'm a Bane fan and he just turned out too damn good to pass on. I'm not surprised considering this is a Martin Canale sculpt.
