Hmm, guess poly foam is generally safe. Doesn't seem to exist any archival pluck foam which is unfortunate. Guess I'll let this off-gass for a few weeks because it definitely smells like it's straight off the boat from a Chinese factory.

Finally aired out. Foam doesn't smell at all anymore and I'm excited to finally use the case.

Still worried about acids, etc. destroying the finish on parts though.

Do I need to put in acid-free paper liners or something? Does anyone know? Major concern is to leave parts for ungodly expensive statues in here and want to take extra precaution if possible. If anyone has experience using these please let me know.
