Well, at least he will be replaced in the next release of Ep. I. That's one change that I can't wait for Lucas to fix. The Ep. III team totally replaced the Ep. I Yoda as a way to "limber up" for ROTS.
Old Yoda from Ep. I:

I'm guessing they will rerelease Ep. I with this new version in 2007 for the 30th anniversary of SW. The Ep. I release coming this fall will NOT have this change. Here's the confirmation that he has been totally replaced in Ep. I. Check out the 3rd question:
