Someone on FB posted a side-by-side of Zodd and Guts using the Sideshow scale pics - it gives a good sense of how beefy Zodd will be. Looking at the pic did help me notice that both statues are doing the "Captain Morgan" pose that was a running gag at one point for Sideshow pieces; hopefully not too many future Berserk pieces go with the same pose!

I really shouldn´t be watching these videos, since I thought from the start that human Zodd would be a pass lol

Their Zodd reminds me very slightly of their N52 Darkseid, with both being beefy dudes both approaching 3 feet tall; Zodd seems like a comparative bargain too at $150 less with a much more elaborate base, faux fur, more switch-outs and a similarly low ES as well.

thanks brother, they really do compliment each other nicely. also agree about darkseid, zodd is part of the reason ill be cancelling that - just don't see the value in it after this

I think it's a fair criticism, and it's one I had when the piece was revealed as well. I've grown to really like the amount of detail, however; it particularly pops for me in some YouTube videos where the person pans around the statue a bit. The attention to detail paid to elements around the back of the base is particularly impressive to me.

EDIT: I also just wanted to echo what I've seen some others say regarding hope that they dial up the gore a bit on the Ex switch-out - put a severed head under the helmet and it'll look even better.
