Damtoys 1:6 figure Resident Evil 2 Claire Redfield problem

Hi gang. Need some help. I received my 1:6 scale figure Claire Redfield more than 30 days ago but didn't open it until now. Everything looked good until I saw black dots on the chest just below the neck. Further inspection, there were more black spots on arms and back. I think it is mold. I was able to get some off with a white eraser but the more darker or bigger spots did not come off. Spots only appears on rubbery material.

I had this stored in a room that was temperature controlled, so never too hot or cold. This must have happened when it was being shipped to North America.

Sideshow will not help since it has been 7 weeks since I received it.

Any idea on how to remove the mold easily? I was going to try nail polish remover but wife does not have any left. Will buy some later if I can't remove the mold with something else.

Thanks

Thanks my friend. I will try that.

Unfortunately, nothing I used worked; rubbing alcohol, detergent, bleach, eraser, spit. I guess Claire will have freckles on her chest
