It's for an old speaker/intercom system. It was the main panel. All the other ones in the house are just basic nickel plate and have been painted over at one point or another. It is original to the house when it was built in the late 50's.

Both look fantastic
However the Cheetah does look much smaller than Captain Marvel
I know that nearmint’s review said that she was only 11 inches tall But putting her next to Captain Marvel almost her look like she is a totally different scale

Congrats, they both turned out great! I really like the glossy finish on the gold bits on CMs suit.

My girlfriend likes the long hair portrait as well. I lean toward the cowl just because that is how she looked in Super Friends. LOL

To be honest Captain Marvel is really big and muscular. He makes all of the other TH pieces look a tad puny. He is in the same scale for sure...he is like The Mountain in Game of Thrones. LOL

I think those may be the best statues of those characters (Cheetah and Captain Marvel/Shazam) I have seen. Excellent additions.
