Tried to re-read this recently - it is so bad... can't even make it through issue #4 - ans it's only 12 issues.
Personally, everything after Planet Hulk - WWH ended badly, The Red Hulk series for the first 25 issues is pretty much all crap and the Hulk family was a failed experiment.

I honestly can't point to an entire event and say, "That shouldn't have happened." But I do hate that the two major comic book companies feel that a major character must die practically EVERY time there is a comic book event. You don't need a death to make a storyline good. Look at the recent roll call just at Marvel: Vision, Ant Man, Hawkeye, Goliath, Banshee, Wasp, Nightcrawler, Cable, Bucky Barnes. That's just off the top of my head. I left out Captain American and Johnny Storm because their deaths, arguably, WERE the event, not just body counts that ultimately seemed beside the point.

The hiring of Rob Liefield and everything he has done since. He has inspired an entire generation of "artists" who think that things like anatomy, structure and storytelling don't really matter all that much.
