Granted I do read mostly Batman related titles but honestly man they are not "high quality" and overly drawn out. I can only imagine how amazing they would be if spread half as thin. Same goes for Superman and GL. WW remains my one bastion

I kind of agree, I started to try to get into I think it was Batman and Robin Eternal until I found out it was a weekly series, I can't make that kind of commitment. I much prefer bi-weekly or even monthly.

I jumped off of all the Avengers books with the relaunhes as none of the teams interested me at all.

Sort of a double-edged sword...I generally will not jump on a new series part way through a run. So, a new # 1 issue makes for an easy jumping on point.

But, having the series you are currently reading end and then restart at # 1 also makes for an easy jumping off point.

So, it works both ways for me.

You got it. Except for the rare series like Jim Starlin's Infinity series, I plan on just saving up for an omnibus from time to time or the trades that really grab me.
