I have seen beautifully made chain mail in 1:6 scale. So there is no excuse for PCS not to make it.

The colour of the Colosseum is too dark. The correct colour of the travertine limestone used on the structure should be lighter.
I think chainmail can maybe work in 1/3 but that example doesn't look very good... the rings are huge for a 1/6.

That chain mail is from years ago. Today's 3D printing technology can surely reduce the size of the rings by quite a bit, I imagine.

Yeah but what about production? They do not used 3D printing in factory production, only casting.

Even if you 3d printed it it's no longer metal, unless you mean 3d print in metal which is a different story. And even if they did 3d print them in metal they would still have to do it as individual rings making it pointless as they'd have to do all the work anyway. While you can print interlocking chain mail doing it that small and in metal is something I don't think they'd do. And why? The chain mail looks fine there, honestly the rest looks more plain. The clothes, helmet really needs a better metal color, etc. The chain mail least of it's issues :<

I can?t say I have any major complaints from the one pic. The likeness needs to be on point. This might be the only Maximus statue we ever get in this scale, so I hope they come through. Wasn?t there a pretty nice 1/4 kit made years ago?

I suspect no likeness rights.

He looks way too clean and he is holding a wrong gladius.

Doesn’t have the right number of leather straps on the front dangling from the belt, either.

Not a bad looking statue at all. They really need to address the inaccuracy in the costume and the sword.

Still don't like the chain mail, not in 1:3 scale.
