Normally I would be pretty pissed off and seek a replacement immediately if I receive a statue with any sort of breakage, but strangely I don't even feel bad about this breakage at all, I think its a combination of me really liking the statue and also its easily fixable with some epoxy glue.
Also the replacement situation might be really bad like you said. I would be horrified if I sent it back and they are like "oh sorry, we ran out of stock so here's your money back or wait another 12 months for the next batch". So rather than risk it, I'm just gona hang on to it. If there's a bit of chipped paint after I glue it back then I'll just touch it up with some paint
I rotated the wrist inwards and it made it easier to get the right hand knuckle past the left fingers, then once its in the right place I rotated it back and was able to get the magnets to attach
But yea its very tight indeed and I was scared of scratching the paint off the gloves/sword too!
