Unfortunately, I had the "big moment" spoiled for me mere minutes before watching the episode.. Nonethless, that was an outstanding premiere.

Uhhgghhh...I don't like the Tia character at all, and hate the angle they've chosen to take with her. I do like this series though, so I'll keep watching to see where things go from here.

I too was hoping that Thea would disappear into the background for long enough that we forgot about her as to make her seeming transformation more poignant.

Sorry..."Thea". But, seriously, does everyone get to go to the Island, or get trained by the league of assassins and become a fighting machine? How long will it be before Oliver's mom's prison cell mate is discovered to be a member of the league of assassins and trains her to be a trained weapon. If everyone is a trained assassin, then it makes them all less interesting, IMO...
