First email was saying that it wouldn't make a difference on changing the body, then the truth in the second email says that they have no stock to replace body defects.

How many collectors are left with this issue and SS cant replace because out of stock??

I would be sending that back in a heartbeat and walking away. I could NEVER look at that without being pissed off and if they have "nothing better" as a replacement then SS is in big trouble with stock.

Or try your luck returning it and order a new one. See if that is better.

I'm not easily bothered by defects but I couldn't keep that either.

I will most likely to send this back, it looks awful because it's on the front on the statue.

My concern is how many collectors will be left in the cold on this one, or future releases?

I don't see poor customer service. It appears to me Daniel didn't notice the body issues on the first e-mail and then did on the second e-mail. He then increased the credit as they don't have an extra body to exchange. Ultimately they will take it back if that is the decision the OP desires. It's a bummer for sure but I don't see a run around or poor customer service.

maybe run around is not the right term, but ive been where the op is - super frustrating especially when you consider the es on this and the bodies for the reg and ex are the same. paint qc on this has actually been really good from what ive seen so theyre saying there are no replacement bodies that have good paint apps like most of the other ones posted for all of the statues made?

like I said, ive been there - you just want to drive down to the warehouse and look at their replacement stock yourself lol
