Guys guess what, I just noticed today my EX head has developed a crack on the forehead

Now I am forced to display it with regular head, but I like the EX head better.

Damn why oh why??? This statue has been a nightmare since the beginning, maybe it's time for me to get rid of it. Damn you poor quality paint

Now I fear my psylocke would do the same, but so far my replacement body is fine.

I didn't expect Rogue to be cracked like psylocke, I wonder what happened? This is the EX replacement head btw.

Man!!! I saw the picture on EBay. Sorry for your luck!!
Have you thought about fixing it yourself or getting a custom paint? I got rid of mine last year and I still mourn for her. So much potential, poor delivery.

Correction he does not paint for sideshow anymore, and the original protos were painted by kat sapien. He did do the first ones but sideshow had kat re-paint them.

yeah I forgot to mention that. Apparently there were 2 different castings for the Rogue portraits.

I guess the proto-type used an opaque white resin whereas the production pieces were polystone. So the light reflects differently, thus colors look a little different. Also, the factory decided to use intrinsic polystone for the hair (Ex only). It means that it has translucent quality to it like glass, not completely opaque. Nathan decided to use that quality to an advantage, and used a different technique to re-do the hair (on my commissioned piece). The colors used are the same, but they are different in a way.

Dunno why the factory got it wrong though.

Kat Sapien or (Sapene?) did an incredible job on Hawkeye, Joker, and Poison Ivy protos. I hope the factory does the remaining ones justice.

I thought Nathan was painting the Obi-Wan Legendary Scale Figure Prototype?

Either or, they are both very talented artists.

At this point I think I would rather sell it, someone can fix it or get the custom paint. I don't think I want her anymore, I was so disappointed with the issue, I didn't expect it would crack by its own.

I know we're not supposed to post a bunch of pics of Rogue repaints, but I have to post one here. I'll post all the rest in my collection thread.

I have to say that now that Vince Vell has repainted my Rogue face, I absolutely love her now. She's breathtaking.
